Observer Guide

Overview

The Observer role is read-only. Observers can view the dashboard and permitted case categories, but cannot take action.

Dashboard

The dashboard provides an interactive overview of cases. It displays case counts and breakdowns by:

  • Status.
  • Priority.
  • Place of incident.
  • Substantiation.
  • Identity disclosure.

The dashboard also includes case management details and supervisor information. Dashboard visuals are filterable so observers can adjust views and analyze the available data.

Case List

Observers can only:

  • View all case categories.
  • Access case details, conversations, and timelines for assigned categories only.
  • Observe cases without making changes.
  • Observe cases without participating in conversations.

Read-only access

The Observer role is restricted to viewing and observing.
